Fantastic guitar for not a whole lot of money
Stewartt 11.07.2020
I’m used to Ibanez rg and sa guitars and fender strats so moving to a much “chunkier” guitar was a bit of a jump for me and I really didn’t want to invest a tonne. My impressions after about 2 weeks of ownership are good with some caveats

Pros
Great quality feeling build
Nice full sound you get decent low end from the neck pickup and the bridge is surprisingly bright too

Cons
Frets not finished to the same standard I have come to expect from Ibanez, the fret end needed to be redressed and rounded over and the top of the frets needed polished (definitely not a deal breaker at this price point but still warrants mentioning)
Tuners are a little rubbish, it holds tune really well but is a nightmare to tune in the first place
It’s a larger instrument and whilst not heavy at all, quite light in fact, it does take some getting used to if you are used to strats and the like.

Overall
If you want to give semihollows a try you can’t go wrong here for the cost plus a quick setup at your local guitar shop it’s a steal

LK
A bassy jazz guitar
Lex K 16.01.2020
Pros: great finish and build quality, tuners and bridge work great, it sounds nice unplugged. Pots are great.
The guitar itself looks very attractive.

Cons: the guitar sound is not balanced, it has a lot of bass, and much less tremble. I had to tighten the output jack.

It is a great guitar for bedroom practice, so I use it as a kinda silent acoustic guitar.
