what can i say except this guitar is just incredible in all aspects, it's pleasant for the eye, it plays absolutely AMAZING it really very easy to play and i'm not sure why ,it might be because of the flat fretboard and the thin nick or the beautiful tree of life inspiration, for short the guitar plays itself, the tremolo is just very sensitive which is amazing in handling, the pickups are breathtaking and very satisfying to my ears, the only downside is the no case, please if you have the money for it don't even hesitate just buy it, it is worth every penny and yes i called it EVO

In meiner Jugend (in der DDR) habe ich mir regelmäßig an der Schaufensterscheibe unseres Musikinstrumentengeschäftes die Nase Blatt gedrückt denn dort gab es, neben den Instrumenten von "MUSIMA", von denen ich auch Eine besitze und zwar eine "liedstar" Typ: Stratocaster, auch einige Modelle von "IBANEZ". Leider konnte ich mir damals diese Gitarren nicht leisten. Doch jetzt mehr als 30 Jahre später konnte ich mir endlich diesen Traum erfüllen. Nun was soll ich Euch sagen, Sie ist jeden einzelnen Cent wert.

Prestige JEM nun auch in der Premium LinePrestige JEM now also in the Premium Line

2019 hat Ibanez sich breitschlagen lassen und seine „edle weisse JEM“ mit Perlmuttschlagbrett und vergoldeter Hardware aus der Prestige Serie nun auch für rund 1000€ weniger in der Premium Serie aufgelegt, auch unter Verwendung der gleichen Hölzer, Pickups und Hardware! Offensichtlicher Unterschied ist, dass die 4 obersten Bünde nicht gescalloped sind und der Tremoloblock weniger massiv. Ausserdem soll der Korpus nicht wie in der Prestigeserie aus einem Stück, sondern aus mehreren Teilen zusammengeleimt sein.
Ob das nun so grosse Unterschiede vor allem beim Sustain macht, könnte man nur im direkten Vergleich herausfinden, der mir hier fehlt. Ich kann nur mit meiner blauen BFP JEM vergleichen, und da ist das Sustain bei der weissen eher besser, vor allem die Evolution Pickups machen noch mehr Dampf als die in der BFP eingebauten Gravity Storms, was vor allem Clean noch voller klingt, auch die Tontrennung im High Gain Bereich klingt subjektiv besser. Sie klingen doch recht unterschiedlich, jede hat ihren eigenen Charakter, und das ist ja auch gut so. Handling und Bespielbarkeit ist bei beiden gleich gut. Schade, dass Ibanez hier am in der Premium Linie sonst üblichen Koffer gespart hat und das Teil nur in einem Gigbag ausliefert
Wer schon immer mit der JEM7 VP-WH in „edel“ geliebäugelt hat und vor dem Preis zurückschreckte, hat jetzt endlich für 1000€ weniger ein absolut untadeliges Instrument zur Auswahl.

In 2019, Ibanez went big and released its “noble white JEM” with mother-of-pearl pickguard and gold-plated hardware from the Prestige series in the Premium series for around €1,000 less, even using the same woods, pickups and hardware! The obvious difference is that the top 4 frets are not scalloped and the tremolo block is less solid. In addition, the body should not be made from one piece, as in the Prestige series, but from several parts glued together. The only way to find out whether this makes such a big difference, especially in terms of sustain, is to do a direct comparison, which I'm missing here. I can only compare with my blue BFP JEM, and the sustain on the white one is rather better, the Evolution pickups in particular make even more power than the Gravity Storms built into the BFP, which especially clean sounds even fuller, as does the tone separation Subjectively, the high gain range sounds better. They sound quite different, each has its own character, and that's a good thing. Handling and playability are equally good for both. It's a shame that Ibanez has saved on the usual case in the Premium line and only delivers the thing in a gig bag. Anyone who has always flirted with the "classy" JEM7 VP-WH and was put off by the price now finally has one for €1000 less an absolutely impeccable instrument to choose from.

Visualmente impactante a la distancia, horrible en los detalles

Lo bueno:
Me llego esta guitarra esta semana, estaba emocionado de poder tener la guitarra que había soñado hace tiempo, al tomarla desde su funda no decepcionó a primera vista, pero eso es todo. El mástil es hermoso y la combinación de colores blanco con dorado no deja de atraer mi mirada.
Lo malo:
La guitarra vino desafinada, desentonada, descalibrada, el puente flotante esta en posición correcta, lo demás mal, inusable en el estado actual. Los trastes son algo duros, pero el cuerpo de la guitarra es la peor parte, tiene fallas GRAVES de pintura en el monkey grip por el lado interno, tiene un piquete gigante el cual no tiene pintura, en la parte interna del puente flotante donde esta el sacado inferior la pintura quedo pésimo, el acabo tiene una superficie que denota como si hubiera quedado parte de los pelos de una brocha, horrible.
Resumen:
Para una guitarra de mas de mil dolares, las fallas en los detalles de la guitarra son inexcusables y definitivamente no recomiendo esta guitarra por ello. Hay guitarras de un cuarto de este valor que no cometen tantas fallas tan básicas. No he podido probar en la totalidad el sonido pero no veo que haya problema con ello, son capsulas DiMarzio Evolution un manjar de sonido para tus oídos.
Finalmente quiero destacar mi pensamiento de que esta guitarra NO debió haber pasado el control de calidad y debió ser devuelta a que corrijan estas faltas tremendas en la pintura.
