Mixed feelings…
Dmitriy Pan 20.02.2023
Bought this bass in January 2023.
It arrived safely and very fast. A hard case is very good, much better than I got in 2012 together with my first Am std Pbass.

Pros:
- light weight
- good balance
- great fret work
- nice neck profile and feeling
- great hardware and electronics
- excellent color (subjective)
Cons:
- the neck of my bass has a deadspot in the 5th fret of E string.
- the bridge of the bass was not attached tightly, there was a gap between the bridge and the body of the bass because of thick grounding wire.

As for the sound of the bass it is quite subjective as well and I am still exploring it. From the first feeling I would say it is full but a bit muddy and warmer than the tone of previous pro model. Boosting mids and cutting lows fix this.

Conclusion:
Good bass but I would not buy it without trying first.

Willkommen im nächsten Level! Welcome to the next level!
Bassmann86 22.12.2021

Thomann top!

Thomann top!
What can you say about this bass? He's a real stunner! So far I have played the solid models from the Squier subsidiary and only recently switched to the original. It was worth it! The bass is extremely well made and looks extremely elegant, but at the same time very modern! The color "Dark Night" is a little lighter in person than it appears in the pictures, but it looks very good and changes depending on the light. This bass belongs on stage! The sound is also convincing across the board. Regardless of whether you use the plectrum, your fingers or the slap technique, the sound is rich and clear at the same time. The included case is also nothing to sneeze at! It is well padded on the inside and can even be locked. Conclusion: When you first open the suitcase there is a real wow effect! This is confirmed when playing with a suitable amplifier. It is extremely comfortable to play, even in the high registers. The Fender Am Pro II Jazz Bass MN DK NIT does what the name promises. PS: Ordering, shipping and processing went great! Thomann great!

Jazz x sempre, peccato sia un B-stock
Andrea L76 10.11.2024
