I've tried many strats up to the ultra series, and this one has felt the best personally. The combination of pickups, maple neck feel and looks really brings it home for me. They really nailed it with the look and feel, I particularly love the sea foam colour with the maple neck and there's something magical about playing on it. Highly recommended purchase :D

A piece of history with a couple of new twists
Jimi4482 11.08.2021
The guitar arrived in its case. The tremolo was leaning forward so I had to tighten up the springs to make it level. I also had to set the string action to my taste because it was too low. Other than that everything else was just perfect. The guitar is a Fender classic with a few new twists like narrow tall frets, pop-In tremolo arm and cold rolled steel block, push-push function of the second tone control for activating the neck pickup in switch positions one and two, treble bleed circuit that maintains highs when reducing volume, crisp, clear sounding pickups and fingerboard rolled edges to name a few. The color of the guitar is magnificent. Supreme workmanship is evident. No flaws at all. I played it for a few hours and I really loved this instrument. It's going to be my go to axe. The only thing that I feel is missing it's locking tuners. Not that the Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuners that come with the guitar are bad, on the contrary they are good quality tuners, but tuning stability with excessive use of the tremolo, I think it will be an issue with these tuners.

Simply Amazing!
il-mewt 21.02.2021
This guitar is awesome.
The colour - beautiful - no photo i have seen so far truly depicts it. it's greener than it looks in most photos and really deep. you have to see it for yourself to appreciate it.
the maple fretboard is also beautiful - glossy and really rich in colour.
the pickups are a dream - you can get the classic strat sounds out of it. with the addition of the push-push button, you're spoilt for choice tone-wise.
i really have no complaints - action was perfect for my playing style - straight out of the box. it actually was still in tune when i got it, even after having travelled so far and across 5 countries!
the hard case is really robust and excellent quality.
one word to describe the whole package - FANTASTIC!

Very disappointed with the manufacturing quality, despite the great service from Thomann!

I really hesitated before writing this review because I hate saying bad things about a product and a brand that I love. But here is my experience, - first version I received, I had a crack under the clear varnish on the neck at the trussrod location. It was mainly aesthetic because everything is well glued during manufacturing to keep the trussrod firmly in the neck but at this price no! So returned. - second the bridge was poorly centered with a part that almost touched one edge of the protection plate. After looking at hundreds of photos of the model online, I decided to return it because of this aesthetic detail which I also find abnormal at this price level. - the third still had this problem but in addition had a problem with the protection plate screwed improperly into the body and which caused a day by twisting the plate! So obviously the people at Thomann were super nice and understood that even if it's not unusual for Fender they can understand that it doesn't suit me and so I gave up recommending a 4th and instead refer to a more high-end model from Suhr or MusicMan (the cutlass) which also have stainless steel frets. I am extremely disappointed because these cosmetic problems often occur on this American series while my vintera do not have these problems... at half the price. I hope Fender will get its act together and provide more reliable quality control and not just ride on their reputation. Last point though, the guitar sounds and resonates very well, is not too heavy and above all the microphones are great. Very close to the pure vintage 59 (very present and rounded, precise bass, recessed midrange and very soft treble) Be careful, the Miami blue color is not at all the same in the photos as in real life. In photos it's close to a Taos Turquoise but in real life it's much greener, a light duck color. It's a great color too but less blue than it seems. In any case this confirms that from now on I would ONLY order from Thomann, they are super responsive and professional, thank you again!
